Women in Local Food and Farming proudly presents our first annual Mother's Day Market! 

The event will take place Saturday, May 9th from 1-4pm at the Sprague/Martell Community Center parking lot located at SW 14th St and Martell Rd. (Just 10 minutes south of Lincoln!!)

Rain or Shine or Virus (See our response and safety plan below.)

Here is an overview of the process:
1. An order form using google docs will be posted on this event and our social media sites. The form can also be emailed to you, if requested. 

Here is the link to the order form: https://forms.gle/8xrpPcYtpuoUZyg48 You can put your order in anytime from now until May 8th at midnight. The form can also be emailed you. Just let us know.

2. Customers will be charged a $10 holding fee using a debit or credit card once their pick up order is placed.
3. Customers will be given a pick up time slot based on the first letter of their last name. If your pick up time does not work for you, feel free to contact us. 
4. Customers will pick up their presale items using our drive-thru system and pay the remaining of their balance using cash, check, or card (small fee for card purchases)
5. Vendors will be set up from 1-4pm in the parking lot. Customers can come to market and buy directly from vendors as well. 

There will be a variety of vendors available at the market. Items for sale will include: 
-Gifts for Mom
-Annual Plants & Flowers
-Vegetable & Herb Starts
-Perennial Herb, Produce, and Flower Plants
-Fresh Produce 
-Bouquets 
-Crafts
-Handmade goods 

COVID-19 SAFETY AND RESPONSE PLAN FOR MARKET

1. Majority of products will be sold before the market and picked up with staggering time slots for customers 

2. Drive thru system will be in place for pick up items

3. All customers must stay at least 6 feet apart

4. Vendor booths will be spaced 20 feet apart

5. Vendors and volunteers will sanitize themselves and booths every 30 minutes 

6. Vendors and volunteers will wear gloves and face masks 

7. Customers only need to pick up an item off a booth if they intent to purchase it

8. Customers will bag their own products using our streamline system 

9. Designated entrance and exit will be labeled 

10. Send one member per household to the market

11. No food or drink consumption at market

12. Limited number of vendors at market 

13. Hand washing and sanitizer station will be available
